A kids Bible app that reads the stories to you
Bible Stories for Kids reads 26 illustrated stories aloud, from the Bible and faith-based, for ages 3 to 7, in English, Spanish and Portuguese. It suits kids who can't read yet, runs on iPhone and iPad, and three stories are free.
We make Bible Stories for Kids, so keep that in mind as you read. The checklist works for any app you are comparing.
Why read-aloud helps
Young children can listen long before they can read. A narrator lets them follow a story alone or with you, and go back to their favorites.
What's included
- Stories from the Old and New Testaments
- Illustrations for every scene
- Spanish and Portuguese narration, useful for bilingual families
Common questions
Can my child use it without reading?
Yes. Every story is narrated, so children can follow along by listening.
Is it audio only?
No. The narration plays along with the pictures on screen, so it isn't an audio-only player.
Is it the whole Bible?
No. It is a library of illustrated stories, from the Bible and faith-based, retold for young children.
Does it work offline?
It isn't built for offline use. Stories load over the internet.
